KNITWEAR PRODUCTION

Once your knitwear sample is approved, Final Row can manage the project through bulk production and final completion.

Knitwear production is handled through our specialized overseas production capabilities, while specifications, communication, production coordination, and quality control are managed through Final Row.

This gives brands access to specialized knitwear manufacturing without having to independently manage overseas production.

Minimum Order Quantity

Our standard knitwear production MOQ starts at:

100 pieces per style

Production can be divided between colors with a minimum of 50 pieces per color.

For example:

100 pieces total = 50 Navy + 50 Ivory

For projects requiring additional colors or different quantities, send us your intended breakdown and we can review what is possible before production begins.

Production Pricing

Final production pricing is provided after the sample and specifications are approved.

Knitwear pricing depends primarily on:

  • Yarn composition and cost
  • Yarn consumption
  • Gauge
  • Stitch complexity
  • Garment construction
  • Quantity
  • Labels and trims
  • Finishing requirements
  • Packaging requirements

Because these factors can significantly affect the cost of a knit garment, we do not publish a universal per-piece production price.

Once the specifications are finalized, we provide pricing based on the actual product being manufactured.

Yarn & Production Materials

Final Row can coordinate yarn sourcing for production based on the approved sample and specifications.

We can also manage additional production components as required, including:

  • Brand labels
  • Care labels
  • Hangtags
  • Buttons and other trims
  • Product information stickers
  • Poly bags
  • Final packaging

Our goal is to keep the approved sample as the production standard while managing the details required to move from development into finished goods.

One Point of Contact

Managing specialized overseas knitwear production should not require you to coordinate independently with multiple suppliers and production teams.

Final Row remains your point of contact throughout the process, from the approved sample through production and final completion.

You work with Final Row. We manage the production process.

Before accepting production, we review the project carefully. If a particular yarn, construction, technique, quantity, or timeline is not suitable for our production capabilities, we will tell you before moving forward.

Final Row Studio is located in Manhattan’s Garment District and works with designers and fashion brands on pattern making, sampling, sourcing, small-batch production, and full-package manufacturing.

Tell us about your project, including the garment type, intended quantity, timeline, and any relevant development details. We will review your inquiry and let you know the most practical next step.

Studio visits are available by appointment. Remote consultations are also available for clients outside New York.
