Final Row provides pattern making, sample development, fitting, and pattern corrections through our New York Garment District studio.
You do not need a complete tech pack to start.
Whether you have a finished tech pack, sketches, reference images, measurements, or an existing garment, we can review your project and determine the most practical way to begin development.

Sampling timelines and pricing vary depending on garment construction, complexity, materials, and the amount of development required.
How to Start
Send us whatever information you currently have.

A complete tech pack is helpful, but it is not required for every project.
We review the information first and provide a quote based on the actual development required.
Pattern Making
Our New York team develops a physical paper pattern based on the approved design, measurements, fit, and construction.
Pattern pricing varies by garment and complexity.
Once the initial pattern is completed, it is used to construct the first sample and refined as necessary during the fitting and correction process.
Sample Making
The first sample is constructed by our New York sample makers using the approved pattern and materials.
For sampling, clients are generally expected to provide the sample fabric and trims.
This helps keep development efficient while ensuring that the sample is made in the materials the client intends to evaluate.
If you do not have materials prepared, let us know when submitting your project. Material sourcing may be available depending on the project.
Sample Pricing
The prices published on our website represent starting prices for basic sample development.
Final pricing may increase depending on construction complexity, special fabrics, linings, buttons, zippers, specialized stitching, finishing, or other design requirements.
We review the project before confirming the final quote so clients understand the expected cost before development begins.
Sample Development Process
1. Project Review
We review your design, references, measurements, intended fit, materials, and construction requirements.
2. Pattern Development
A physical paper pattern is developed in our New York studio.
3. First Sample
The garment is constructed using the approved pattern and materials.
4. Fitting & Review
Fit, proportion, construction, and design details are evaluated.
5. Pattern Corrections
Necessary adjustments are made to the pattern based on the fitting.
6. Sample Approval
Once the fit and construction are approved, the project is ready to move into grading and production.
Additional samples or fittings may be required for more complex garments.
Your Development Belongs to Your Brand
Patterns and technical development created and paid for by the client belong to the client.
If you decide to produce with another manufacturer in the future, your development materials can be transferred for production use.
